These beautifully crafted vintage earrings are made of dangling metal filigree hoops with heavy gold plating. Embellishments include dangling crystal beads and metal filigree "leaf" shapes. These date to the early 1970s according to Napier jewelry expert Melinda Lewis. These measure over 3 1/2" long and 1 7/8" wide so they make quite a statement on the ear! Marked "NAPIER" and Pat. Pend. on the back of the clips. Condition is excellent with no wear to the plating or missing components. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 67.
