These fanciful earrings mimic hanging flower baskets comprised of gold-tone metal and clear crystal embellishments. They are shown on p. 263 of "The Napier Co." by Melinda Lewis. A pair like this was worn by actress Marilyn Monroe on a 1954 cover of Movieland magazine. Marked "Napier" on the clip backs. They measure 3 ½" long for an impressive look. This style of earring is hard to find without significant wear to the metal work or missing components. There is minor wear to the gold-tone finish on these in a couple of spots and all the crystals/dangles appear to be in place. Overall they are just beautiful 1950s earrings.
