While unsigned, this gorgeous brooch brings to mind early Original by Robert or Hobe pieces with filigree findings and scroll work detailing, but this one is likely of Czech origin based on the style and construction. The sparkling rhinestones are pink, blue, yellow and purple in varying hues and shapes. We're dating this eye-catching piece to the 1930s based on the construction and it's transitional Art Deco symmetry. Measures a whopping 3 1/8" across. Condition is on par with what you would expect from 1930s jewelry of this type and excellent overall with no missing stones. Has a definite vintage quality about it. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 39.
