Mimi Di N brooch with simulated flawed emeralds, bright fuchsia pink, and clear rhinestones decorating a Maltese cross brooch. A lustrous baroque pearl measuring 3/4" in diameter. The style of matte gold-tone curved metal work give it a Renaissance flavor. Marked "Mimi Di N" on the back, the mark of Mimi di Niscemi. Measures just under 3 1/4" across and about 3/4" thick for a bold look. Condition is excellent with one lightly darkened clear stone that you have to really look hard to see. Overall it looks as if it were never worn. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 61.
