Joseff of Hollywood 6 3/4" Red Rhinestone Tassel Brooch / Pendant

Joseff's tassel jewelry is known to be among the best of the best, and this impressive brooch is no exception. The cranberry red rhinestones surrounded by regal looking Russian gold-tone plated findings with Victorian revival flair are just dazzling. Long chain tassels dangle beneath. The plating used on this piece is the same as that of pieces that were made for use under Hollywood lighting in classic films like "Gone with the Wind". It has a fold down bail so that it can be worn on as a necklace as well as a pin. Marked "Joseff" on the back. Measures right at 6 3/4" long in total. Condition is excellent. This piece was photographed for “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) and it appears on the cover.
