These gorgeous vintage earrings feature bi-color glass stones collectors have dubbed "dragon's breath". These stones are meant to simulate Mexican fire or jelly opals, and look somewhat purple in color since they include both red and blue combined into each cabochon stone. Rhinestone accents are also ruby red and royal blue. They are similar to some pieces we've seen marked Kramer, but these are unmarked. Measure 1 1/8" in diameter. They would look beautiful coordinated with other dragon's breath pieces. Condition is excellent. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 213.
