Comprised of cut steel “stones” riveted to a silver-colored backing this two-part buckle dates to the late 1800s. It would make a beautiful bracelet clasp for the jewelry crafter. Measures 2 1/2” across. Condition is excellent for this type of antique buckle. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 14.
