Oak Hall Tree or Hall Seat Quarter Sawn Oak
This is a completely restored quarter sawn oak, some say tiger oak, hall seat, hall stand, or hall tree. Manufactured around 1890. The hooks are replacement hooks but the umbrella stand is original, as is the beveled mirror. These umbrella stands are usually missing but we were lucky this time. From an estate in Virginia.
When comparing prices, remember, this was completely restored in our shop. It is fully constructed with quarter sawn lumber, has very elegant and tasteful carvings, shaped arms, great top piece and there are no apologies. The dust in the carving in picture 8 is from rubbing with steel wood, its not there any more!!
It is on display at Oooodles Antiques on Navy Blvd in Pensacola, Fl. Please call them if you have any questions. Kay, Mary Beth or Catherine at 8504532050. Or call me at 8504323203.
