Mahogany Bedroom Set, High Back Bed, Dresser, R. J. Horner

This fantastic bedroom set consists of one bed and matching dresser. Made by one of the best, R. J. Horner Co. New York around 1885. Original and proper label on the back of both pieces.

Elegantly carved first class set. The carving shown close at the left in picture 3 I have been told on good authority that is called Haley's Comet.

All original, no breakage or problems other than cleaning an touch up followed by waxing. We have not yet done any touch up or cleaning, it is as found. It came out of an historic building in Huntsville, Al to a family in Florida then to me. I was very fortunate to obtain this set.

It is a fine cut of mahogany woods, the hardware is original and very fine as well. Well built an heavy as would be expected of a higher end Horner set.

Price is cleaned up, touched up and waxed, ready to go.
