A pert cabinet sized Armand Marseille bisque doll, approximately 11-1/2" tall. Her bisque has no hairlines or repairs. There is a tiny scrape above her right ear where perhaps someone was trying to remove some of the wig glue. She is incised 1894 // AM 110X DEP // Made In Germany (the 110 could be different numbers it is hard to tell). She has dramatic single stroke brows, painted upper and lower lashes, red accent in eye corners, set brown glass eyes, and open mouth with 4 upper teeth and rosy cheeks. Her pate is glued down too firmly to remove. Nice antique mohair wig with wired in millinery flower tiara which looks especially sweet.
Her jointed composition stick body is original. One arm/hand appears to have been restored. The rest of the paint finish looks to be original. She is tightly strung and poses nicely.
She is wearing a lovely antique cotton lawn dress trimmed with embroidered and white work lace (the top button loop in back is torn), antique undergarments: cotton shift, wool slip (pinned close, has a few holes in the back), a cute pair of embroidered pantaloons, Plus vintage socks and a nice pair of vintage satin shoes. Her shoes are a tad too small and fit snug.
