Simplicity by Sir Joshua Reynolds - Ornate Wood Frame

This is a well-known lithograph by Sir Joshua Reynolds. Although neither the artist nor the title is on this print, it is called "Simplicity." Sir Joshua Reynolds was an English portrait painter who lived from 1723-1792. This is said to be a portrait of his great niece, Theophilia Gwatkin (or Ghatkin). She is holding flowers and looking to her right. She is wearing a pretty lace hat and dress.

The carved ornate wood frame measures approximately 13 5/8" tall and 10 5/8" wide. The lovely print is under glass, with a dustcover that has a label from the framing company. It has a wire for hanging.

The colors are beautiful and vivid. I don't see any damage to the frame or vintage print. Sorry for some glare on the glass.
