Bryson Postcard of Dark Haired Woman with Flowers - Early 1900's

This is a vintage postcard of a lovely brunette lady holding roses. It is signed by the artist, James Ross Bryson (1856-1918). He was born in Canada and painted mainly women. Some of his paintings were considered quite risque for that time period.

It was mailed with a one cent stamp. The date appears to be 190_ - the last number is either 6 or 8, hard to tell.

The postcard has edge and corner wear. The upper left has a little dog ear. You can see the outline of the stamp on the front.

But she is pretty enough for a small frame.
