Vintage Flue Cover of Boy and Girl - Made in Germany
This is a beautiful vintage flue cover of two children hugging. The boy and girl are looking at the viewer. It is shown in the Meckley Guide to Flue Covers on page 40 and is referred to as "The Waltz." The children look like the images done by Frances Brundage with their big eyes, but as with most flue covers, it is not signed.

The flue cover measures approximately 7 3/4" round. It has glass on the front, a cardboard backing, with a chain for hanging. The tin frame has a pie crust design. The back has "Made in Germany" impressed on the cardboard.
I don't see any damage. The chain is in the original holes. The tin frame shows some discoloration from age, but there are no issues that I can see.
Please email me if you would like to see any additional photos.
