Vienna Art Plate of Apple Blossom - 1908 - H.D. Beach, Coshocton

This is a lovely lithographed tin metal Vienna Art Plate referred to as Apple Blossom. It features a lovely lady holding a vase of flowers. It is shown in the Hazelcorn Price Guide to Tin Vienna Art Plates on page 29, and is dated @ 1908. They call this style "keyhole" because the border creates the illusion of looking at the woman through a keyhole.

The colors are primarily a dark red, gold, and ivory. There is an Apple Blossom plate that is a maroon color also, shown on the website on tin Vienna Art Plates (see Favorite Links on the left for the link). It measures 10". The back is marked "Vienna Art Plates Pat. Feb. 21st 1905, The H.D. Beach Co. Coshocton, O." This mark was used from 1907-1911.

It has a few scratches and shallow surface nicks, but has been well taken care of, as you can see in the photos. It is a beauty.

Please email me if you would like to see any additional photos.
