Antique Rowland & Marsellus Haverhill Mass Souvenir Plate Blue & White

This is a souvenir plate showing different views of Haverhill, Massachusetts. The plate was made in Staffordshire, England for Rowland & Marsellus, New York based importers who dealt with various factories in Staffordshire to produce their designs. The plate is actually a darker blue than in the photos - this was photographed under strong sunlight.

The plate measures 10 1/8" in diameter and weighs 1 lb and 6 oz. It is in very good condition - two tight hairlines on the underside rim (see close-up photo), under the photo of the High School. As you can see in the close-up photo, they are not visible on the image side - I've inspected the top side with a loop. Very nice display plate, great if you live in Haverhill, or simply a very attractive display addition to a souvenir plate collection.
