This is a pair of Victorian era vases made in green glass with applied enamel floral decoration. They have quite the wonderful form with tapered bulbous bodies and ruffled rims. They measure 8 3/8" in height and are free of chips or cracks. There is some wear to the gold decoration, but this is normal for old glass like this. They will need a cleaning on the inside - I haven't done this because it is a little difficult to access the bottom due to the narrow neck. These are blown glass - one can see the pontil mark on the underside. I'm unsure if these are of American or European origin. Nice display pieces....please click on any photo in order to enlarge...
