Vintage 1950s Roslyn Hoffman Necklace // Copper Disc

This is a wonderful vintage necklace made by Roslyn Hoffman. The necklace is made of intricately formed copper chain with five copper discs, the largest in the center, and the others diminishing in diameter to either side of the center disc.

Each disc is set with a lavender colored glass cabochon stone similar to moonstone and decorated with a finely detailed design in the copper.

The center disc is stamped "Roslyn Hoffman" on its backside. Little is known about Hoffman other than that she was active during the early 1950s - this piece definitely has a late 40s/early 50s sophisticated feel to it.

The necklace measures 15 ½" in length laid out straight and the center disc measures 1 3/8" in diameter. It is in very good condition with the exception of a bit of verde gris, which could be taken off with a bit of vinegar. This is a wonderful vintage necklace - Hoffman pieces are quite sought after.
