Here we have a fabulous find! I think this set is gorgeous. It is a very vintage, Arts and Crafts era, "Made In Czechoslovakia" all pure linen tablecloth with 6 matching napkins. The set has a fab Arts & Crafts fruit design, done in wonderful bright colors of dark orange, golden yellow and green. The background is a linen white. There is a border of orange and yellow on cloth and napkins, with another border of leaves and cherries also on both. The tablecloth then has more fruit, with grapes in two corners and pears in the other two corners. There are oranges and more pears and grapes towards the center, with strawberries tossed about around a circle of more cherries in the center. The set has never been used. It still retains its "Made in Czechoslovakia" label which has size(table cloth measures 52"x70"), and it still retains its original "Warranted Pure Linen" label. There are six napkins and they still have their original silk/rayon ribbon holding them together. The napkins would be around 15" square(I have not taken them apart from their original ribbon). The set has been stored in a box all of these years, and at some point it must have been put in a different box. The box has a "Made in Czechoslovakia" label, but the size and style numbers on box do not match the numbers on the label on the actual cloth. Box also has an original price tag of $5.00, from "Carson Pirie Scott & Co.". The box is basically sturdy with some storage soiling. The cloth and napkins do have light soiling from storage, but absolutely nothing bad. Please email if you have any questions and as always thanks for looking!
