The Baker Manchester Mfg. Co. was only in business fifteen (15) years. They made fancy sterling servers and specialty pieces.
This sterling serving fork has an unidentified pattern. The handle has a beautiful floral design with deep impressed "lily type" blossoms. The shape of the tine suggests this fork would be used for meats.
The back of the fork is stamped "Sterling" with the Baker Manchester logo, this being a shield with letter "M" between two (2) birds.
The fork is 7 ½" long X 1 3/8" wide (across the tines). The fork is in very good condition, circa late 1800's.
