This small child's bisque doll is absolutely adorable. Her arms and legs are jointed.
Her face is hand painted with blue eyes, brown eye brows, brown eye lashes, rosy cheeks and deep rose lips. Her hair is blond and original. Her arms and body are bisque as well. Her boots are brown with black outlines around the top rim of the boots as well as the tips of the boots and outline of the heels.
I absolutely love this doll's hand made outfit. The entire outfit is crocheted in a soft blue shell stitch pattern. Her dress, cape and hat are in the soft blue and her half slip and pantaloons are white.
This doll was my elderly friend's 1st doll and her grandmother made the outfit for her. She is an only child and she took great care of her doll. My friend is 82 years old.
Whoever buys this doll, hopefully, will cherish her as much as her previous owner.
The stamp marks in the bisque body are "208 4". She is 5" tall X 2" wide (outer shoulder to outer shoulder). Her condition is excellent, no chips, cracks or hairlines. No touch up has ever been done to this doll. Circa 1890-1900.
