Steiff Collie Dog, Vintage

This wonderful collie dog is simply adorable. I love his leisurely posture. This collie retains its original bear head collar tag and its original Steiff button in its ear. I can certainly see this collie lounging on a sofa or on one's bed. I think this collie is charming and I believe the collie would enhance any Steiff collection.

The collie's eyes are glass and original. The dog's snout is factory woven and its original tongue is felt. The collie's coat is fluffy and very nice!

The collie is 8 ½" high X 16" long (not including the tail). The tail of the collie is 7" long. The condition is very good, circa 1950's.
