This rare and outstanding pair of India portraits are extremely well done, with unbelievable detail. The portraits, on ivory, are of Shan Jehan & wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The intricate detail in the paintings is exquisite. They are housed in their original brass frames, mats & convex glass.
The frames measure 3 ¾" high, 3" wide. They are in as found condition, with some curling of the ivory.
