Antique Set of Twelve (12) Sterling Silver Forks, English

This set of twelve (12) English dessert or ramekin forks is very nice. They are housed in their original velvet lined leather case. They obviously were well cared for. These forks were manufactured between 1909-1910 by Walker & Hall Sheffield.

It amazes me that the full set of 12 is intact. I purchased quite a bit of English sterling silver from an elderly couple recently, this being part of the purchase. I am very pleased to offer this set for sale. I am assuming these forks are either dessert or ramekin forks.

The storage case is in very good condition. The condition of the forks is also very good. There are surface scratches throughout the forks, however these can easily be buffed out by a jewelry or silver smith. The touch marks on the back of the handles are: "Crown – Lion – R – the W&G logo."

The forks are just under 5 ½" long X 1" wide across the tines. The weight of these forks is 11.28 troy ounces, circa 1909-1910.
