This set of six (6) sterling silver strawberry forks is lovely. The manufacturer is Towle and the pattern name is "Canterbury". This particular pattern was introduced in 1893.
I am very impressed with the overall condition of all 6 forks. Each fork still retains its original gold wash.
The stamps on the back of each fork read as follows: "Sterling – 925/1000 – Towle logo – Copy Righted". There is also a stamp which reads: "C.F. Hurd". This set of forks came to me in a sterling silver sleeve which reads: "William Wise & Co., Brooklyn, NY".
The forks are 5" long X 1/2" wide. The condition of the forks is very good, circa 1900.
