This Heisey compote is quite lovely. The pattern is a mixed pattern. The bowl itself is the peerless pattern with cut decoration around the bottom of the bowl and also around the bottom of the base. The rim is scalloped with a ruffle edge. Having a mixed pattern gives a lot of dimension to this piece. This compote is signed with the typical diamond with an “H” in the center.
The compote is 7 ¾’ across the top X 7” high X 4 ½” across the base. The condition of the compote is very good. There is one straw mark on the inside of the bowl which is quite common. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines. Circa 1930.
