Royal Winton Chintz, Old Cottage Set, Vintage
This Chintz three (3) piece set is very dainty looking. The tray is used to house the creamer and sugar bowl. The name of this chintz is “Old Cottage”. I can see this set on the kitchen counter for all to admire. I think it is quite charming.
The tray is 8” long X 5” wide. The creamer is 2 ¼” high X 4 ¼’ across (from outer handle to outer spout). The sugar bowl is 2 ¼” high X 2 ¾” wide.
The condition is good. There is a small nick on the spout and one hairline crack on the inside of the sugar bowl. The sugar bowl also has a lot of crazing on the inside and some crazing on the bottom of the tray. Circa 1930’s.
