This antique Royal Worcester porcelain vase is absolutely gorgeous! The overall color of this vase has an ivory ground with gold accents. The collar on this vase has stylized flowers and vines with a raised lotus type flower below the border on both sides. The handles are serpents.
The lower portion of the vase has raised scrolling and a simplistic fleus-de-lis decoration. The bottom has the purple crown a top circle mark with the purple box with a registry number “RNGO?66” and also the purple number “1176” below the box.
The vase is 7’ high X 9” wide (outer handle to outer handle). The condition of the vase is very good. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is some “wear” to the gold on the rim of the top of the vase, this being normal for a piece of this age. Circa 1840-50’s.
