Chintz Cream & Sugar, Myott, Son & Co., Vintage

This Chintz creamer and sugar are rare in that the factory Myott & Son burned in 1949 and all the records and pattern books of the Myott factory were destroyed. This particular pattern is unknown, in fact, there are only two (2) patterns listed by Myott which are “Spring Flower” and “Summer Flower”.

I personally like the pattern on these pieces. The main flower is a vivid deep rose colored rose along with yellow roses, green leaves and a brown background.

The creamer is 5 ¼” wide (outer handle to outer spout) X 2 ½” high. The sugar bowl is 5 ½” wide (from outer handles) and 3” high (including the cover). The age of the pieces is 1920-30’d. The condition is very good. There are no chips, crack or hairlines.
