This cold meat fork is absolutely gorgeous and very heavy. It was manufactured by the Towle Co. and the pattern name is “Old Newbury”. The handle is monogrammed with a fancy English engraving which I believe is the Letter “T” but have to admit I am no pro when it comes to fancy monograms.
The back of this fork is stamped “Sterling – 925/1000 – and has the Towle logo”.
Considering that this serving meat fork has been used, I personally think it is in very good condition. There is some minor scuffing on the fork but I do not find this offensive, simply normal use.
The fork is 8 ½” long X 1 ¾” across the teeth. Circa 1900.
