This sterling silver double handle serving bowl has its original cobalt blue glass liner. Personally I’d use this charming bowl for candy, mints or nuts. I am absolutely sure that the owner of this bowl will receive a lot of compliments.
The mfg. stamp is “S. Kirk & Son – Sterling - #224”. The bowl is 4” round with an additional 1 ½” in width from outside handle to outside handle. The base is 2 ¾” wide. The height is 2 ½”.
The condition of the bowl and liner are very good. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines, circa 1850-1860.
