Antique, Victorian Sterling Silver Belt Buckle Reposse
This antique belt buckle is pretty amazing and the reposse is very impressive because of the heavy raised flowers and leaves. Both ends of the buckle are flat and plain which is necessary to house the belt material, whether fabric, or some other material. With an actual belt attached the reposse of the buckle is personified greatly.
The buckle is 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The buckle has been used, but its condition is very good. There are no dents, bangs or distress on the sterling silver reposse or the belt itself. The belt buckle has not been recently cleaned. Its circa is 1890-1900.
