Antique German Litho Cube Puzzle

Also included with the puzzle are six (6) separate photos, each representing one of the 6 puzzles. One puzzle photo is on the cover of the box while the remaining 5 photos are loose inside the box. One of these photos has a tear of approximately 1” in length. The word “Germany” is stamped on the box cover in the lower left hand corner. One block of one puzzle is also stamped “Germany”, this being on the block in the upper right hand corner.

The box is original to the blocks. The box measures 6 ¾” long X 4 ½” wide X 2” high. The puzzle measures 3 9/16” X 4 5/8”. The cover of the box sits squarely on the base of the box, not overlapping the base.

Each block is 1 7/16” square. The wood box is in good condition but the litho sides of the box are in marginal shape. There is missing paper on the sides of the box. The photo on the litho cover of the box has cracks and checking to the litho itself.

The litho on the blocks have, in essence, a complete litho on each side with some checking and some loose and chipped corners of the litho paper. For the age of the puzzles I feel that they are in good shape. There is no doubt, these puzzles were loved and used a great deal!
