This rare antique cornucopia-urn (Lancaster Glass Works, N.Y.) is green with an applied sloping collared mouth. It features a cornucopia on one side of the flask and vegetables on the reverse side. It’s a pint size and has a rough pontil bottom. As to be expected, there are bubbles and stretch marks in the glass. I purchased this flask from a very elderly gentleman who was an advanced collector of early flasks.
The piece is 7” tall X 5 ¼” (at its widest point), circa early 1800’s.
There condition of this piece is good. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines.
