"Honeysuckle" By Durgin Set of Six Sterling Ice Cream Forks C:1886

Offered is a set of six sterling ice cream forks in the pattern, "Honeysuckle" by Durgin. Gorham bought Durgin in 1905 when both father and Durgin son died. These forks were patented in 1886. They are marked on the back with the Durgin hallmark, Sterling, James Mix. James Mix was a jeweler in Albany, NY. The spoons are have a bright cut honeysuckle leaf twining around the top and down the handle of the fork. There is a beautiful hand engraved "HB" on each fork. The forks weigh a total of 119.8grams. Superb condition set of six.
