English Mahogany Carved Plaque Pair C:1880

On my last buying trip to the UK, I found a dealer at Lincoln Antique Fair who had the most gorgeous carved plaques. This pair of mahogany plaques measure 15 1/2" x 19 1/2". Note the tool marks beside the carved area. Carved cross hatching at the corners. Each interior corner is carved in a quarter sun design. The interior design measures 10" x 7". These are so handsome hung in a bar area or really anywhere for that matter. I bought several pairs and a couple of individual ones that I have listed. A most favorite find !!!! C:1880
