English Copper And Brass Banded Harvest Jug
Offered is and a copper and brass harvest jug. I purchased this in the UK at Lincoln Antique Fair. The jug measures 5" tall and 6 1/2" from spout to handle. The jug has a copper body, brass handle and spout. There are brass bands running around the body. It is marked on the bottom with the maker's mark, which I am unfamiliar with. The bottom reads: Made in England, PPB, and the mark J with what appears to be a hammer on the opposite side.. Handsome piece.
