Offered today is a stunning Art Deco Egyptian Revival belt buckle from the mid 1920's. The wonderful buckle features a silver repousse male and female Pharaoh, each wearing the falcon headdress. The portraits are beautifully crafted reflecting wonderful details in the faces, headdresses and overall design. The silver Pharaoh panels have a lovely aged patina and are riveted onto black oval celluloid frames. Each celluloid frame measures 2 3 /4" by 2 1 /8" for a total width of 4 1 /4" when the frames are buckled together. There are two tiny holes punched into the top, bottom and one side of each buckle. The back of the celluloid frames is somewhat rough. This does not detract from the beauty of the wonderful Art Deco Egyptian Revival Pharaoh belt buckle which is in very good vintage condition.
