Vintage Norway Sterling Art Glass DAVID ANDERSEN by Harry Sorby Modernist Pin Brooch
Here is a stunning sterling silver and blue green amazonite David Andersen pin designed by Harry Sorby. This stylized sterling pin has a lovely green amazonite bezel set cabochon. The pin measures about 2 3 /8" long by 1 1 /4" high and is signed "D-A Norway Sterling 925S - INV.H.S." It is in excellent vintage condition. A fun piece to wear and a great collector's item!

"In the 1950s David-Andersen took the initiative to foster young and innovative designers of modernist 'Scandinavian Design' silver jewelry, with or without enamel and these much sought-after pieces all bear the initials of the designer, preceded by INV (inventor).
