A fabulous amethyst scarab from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This stunning ring is made of 14kt yellow gold and depicts a carved amethyst scarab beetle. The scarab, which is particularly large in size, has wonderful hand carved detail and luscious purple color. It is bezel set in the 14kt gold setting and rests high above the finger. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "14K" along with what appears to be a makers mark. This wonderful and rare piece would make a lovely addition to any collection!

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold or to the carved amethyst scarab beetle.
