A simply beautiful Art Deco (ca1920) era amethyst ring! Set in the center is a single large faceted oval amethyst which is in a 14kt yellow gold setting. The amethyst rests on a gold octagon shape and has a wonderful design of green and black enamel around the border. The enameled design is carried on the shoulder of the ring as well and adds a very Art Deco look to the piece. On the inner side of the band "14K" is stamped. This fabulous Art Deco ring would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!

Measurements: The rings octagon shaped setting measures slightly less than 3/4" at its widest point, a little more than 3/4" at the tallest point and has a depth of 5/16". It has a finger size of 6 1/2.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is great. There is no apparent damage to the metal and the stone is intact. There is some minor damage to the enamel work and some very small scratches on the surface of the stone which are not noticeable when worn.
