Vintage Antonio Pineda 14kt Moonstone & Ruby Ring
This ring is a wonderful example of Antonio Pineda's talent. From the 1960's, the piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and adorns a very unusual and fabulous design. Because Pineda is best known for his work in sterling, a 14kt ring is very uncommon for him. The piece is comprised of two sections that wrap around the finger and end in 2 emerald cut rubies on the ends. In between the two sections is a single bezel set oval moonstone. It's a simply marvelous design that looks great when worn. On the inside of the ring is the signature Antonio Pineda hallmark used after 1953 and "14K". It is simply magnificent and a must have for the Pineda collector!
Measurements: The ring measures approximately 3/4" at its longest point. The moonstone measures 5/8" at its widest point, 3/8" tall and sits 1/4" atop the finger. The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the metal or to the stones.
