1920s Hammered Silver Ice Bucket Cocktail Glasses Vintage Monogram M Apollo
Very vintage early 1920s silver plated nickel silver ice bucket and five cocktail stem glasses, each with a monogram M. The bucket is marked for Apollo, by Bernard Rice's Sons, an extremely popular design firm of stylish metal goods, manufactured by various firms. The Apollo name always means metal items that were the very top style for their day. The stems are marked for T & T Silver, and are also silver plated nickel silver. The bucket measures 6 inches high not including hinges and handle, and is 5 inches across the rim. The cocktail glasses measure five and one eighth inches high, and three and three sixteenths across their flared rims. Condition is good on all, no issues beyond the discreet war to the plating at the high points of the hammering as is typical and expected. Freshly hand polished but allowing the patina to remain enough to show age contrast, it can be polished more deeply to remove all darkening if one wishes. I will of course combine multiple item purchases for actual cost only shipping, by combined weight.
We do expect payment at time of purchase for single items, just click the Pay Now button on the purchase order. Multiple item purchases can either be paid for at the time of purchase, and we will refund overages on shipping and insurance cost to the penny, or you can wait for an invoice with our adjusted combined weight shipping costs, and then make payment.
