Italian Cutwork Towel Vintage 1920s Hand Embroidered

Vintage 1920s never used, never laundered Italian heavy cotton towel, meant for the bath at a time when terry loop towels were not yet common. Hand embroidered cutwork, ivory color. Unused trousseau item. I am listing numerous linens this week from the same estate, that of a woman in her 90s and these Italian pieces were her from her mother's trousseau, married in the early 1920s, a first generation Italian American bride. Many items were sent from family in Italy for wedding gifts, and very few were ever used. The towel measures 44 x 27.25 inches. Perfect unused condition, nicely stored, will of course need a soak to freshen and whiten prior to use, and remove fold line marks as shown. I will of course combine multiple item purchases for actual cost only shipping, by combined weight.

We do expect payment at time of purchase for single items, just click the Pay Now button on the purchase order. Multiple item purchases can either be paid for at the time of purchase, and we will refund overages on shipping and insurance cost to the penny, or you can wait for an invoice with our adjusted combined weight shipping costs, and then make payment.
