Three unusual circa 1920 tape lace doilies, same estate and clearly made by the same hand, light natural color crocheted tapes and imitating macramé lace, which was extremely popular and stylish at the time. Heavy tape laces were popular to be placed under the new, heavy art pottery and lamps coming into use in the late 1910s and early 1920s, Arts and Crafts era. One needed heavy textile to protect wood surfaces from the heavy pottery being used, and to create better visual balance than linens and lace popular prior to this period. Measurements as follows, left to right in the first photo, 13.75 x 8.25 inches, 14.5 x 12 inches, 17 x 8.25 inches. Excellent condition all, NO issues. Freshly hand laundered and ready for your immediate use. I will of course combine multiple item purchases for actual cost only shipping, by combined weight.
