One of several excellent, large antique French tablecloths that I was lucky enough to acquire this week. This one is circa 1900 to 1920, and is a thick cotton and linen blend informal damask trimmed with wide crocheted lace edging all around. The French used a lot of thick, informal damask for everyday family use, and this should not be confused with fine linen damask. The weave motif is of poppies and leaves, the lace is pointed, tipped squares. It measures 76.5 x 81.5 inches. It is in absolutely excellent condition with NO issues. It has been freshly hand laundered and is ready for your immediate enjoyment. I
