Ornate Filigree Metal Caddy Buffet Teaspoon Spoon Tea Party

Beautiful heavy vintage ornate metal filigree teaspoon spoon caddy, intended for use for buffet style tea parties, to hold teaspoons, rather than placing one with each cup, as some people will not be using a spoon, if they do not take sugar, etc., and fewer spoons used to entertain more. It is shown holding twelve spoons, which are not for sale. It has an Aitco Portugal mark, for American International Trading Company. It appears to be heavy cast brass with an antique gold finish, but can't be sure. It measures 9.25 inches long including handles, and stands two and seven eighths inches high at the handles. The teaspoons shown are standard teaspoons, it will accommodate a slightly oversized spoon, as the well is 6.75 inches long. It is in excellent condition, does have traces of corrosion where the handles are attached, shown, no real issues.
