Limoges Poppies Hand Painted Dish China Gold

Antique French Limoges china shallow bowl or very deep plate, lavish gold on the ornately molded rim, hand painted accents over transfer poppies. Marked for Jean Pouyat, France, and for the importer, name unknown to me, but using a W in a wreath mark. It measures 9.5 inches across, and one and five eighths inches deep. If examined carefully on the back side, running ones finger along the rim, three small flakes can be located, all shown. On the front, there is a small bit of gold loss only to the high points of the molding, here and there, otherwise the gold is fairly intact. Note, insurance for this item can be declined by the buyer at the time of purchase order, if preferred.
