Vintage 1920s Italian white cotton hand embroidered cutwork topper featuring Art Deco styled roses, a gift to a first generation Italian American bride in the 1920s. It measures 29 x 28 inches. Excellent, unused condition. I have freshly hand laundered this pieces to remove decades of storage darkening, and it is ready for your immediate enjoyment. I am listing numerous linens over a few weeks from the same estate, that of a woman in her 90s and these Italian pieces were her from her mother's trousseau, married in the early 1920s. Many items were sent from family in Italy for wedding gifts, and very few were ever used. Note, insurance for this item can be declined by the buyer at the time of purchase order, if preferred.
