Elegant pair of French champleve and green onyx lamp bases from the late 1800's-early 1900's. Wonderful champleve enamel adorns the neck and base of each lamp. The baluster form body is formed of luscious green onyx with just a thread of ruby color here and there. They look lovely with either black or ivory silk shades....but I will leave that to your tastes. These rare lamps came from the estate of an owner of the oldest auction house in the Cincinnati,Ohio area. They look outstanding in any sophisticated decor.
