Victorian Miniature Wire Enamel Violet Picture Frame

Sooooooo sweet!!! This precious miniature Victorian picture frame is made of a twisted brass wire embellished with delicate enameled violets and leaves. It contains a photo of a little girl born in Ohio who married and became Mrs. Lydia Doerhoefer and resided in Louisville,Ky. Born in 1856, this must have been her at the age of 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 years old. The frame has an easel back and tabs for holding the photo. The frame measures 2.75" tall by 2" wide. In very good antique condition with minimal loss to the enamel paint. A wonderful piece for collectors of miniature frames.
